POSITION SUMMARY:

The Retail Sales Consultant plays a crucial role in assisting management to foster a customer-centric and product-oriented sales environment, where our core values and guiding principles drive all store activities. This includes ensuring an exceptional customer experience while maximizing profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Performance: Achieves company sales targets by employing effective sales strategies and sharing product insights with customers; assists in selecting merchandise or locating items based on customer preferences.

Maintains awareness of ongoing promotions and pricing strategies; upholds visual merchandising standards. Ensures compliance with merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other responsibilities as assigned by management. Engages in visual merchandising initiatives, including monthly store layouts and area maintenance.

Customer Service Excellence: Exemplifies and promotes the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience.

Addresses customer inquiries promptly and effectively.

Facilitates a swift and efficient checkout process, staying informed on policies related to payments, coupon usage, returns, exchanges, security protocols, and other operational procedures.

Encourages purchasing decisions at the register and meets add-on sales targets, including gift card promotions. Enrolls clients in loyalty programs. Cultivates and maintains a strong customer base through personalized service and wardrobe consultations. Remains knowledgeable about current product offerings and styles available in-store and online. Maintains regular communication with clients through a customer relationship management system.

Operational Support:

Assists in inventory replenishment to ensure the store remains well-stocked. Aids in locating merchandise for customers. Participates in visual merchandising tasks, including floor arrangements, window displays, and signage placement as directed. Contributes to the cleanliness and organization of the boutique.

Team Collaboration and Development:

Encourages a collaborative and inclusive approach to problem-solving. Actively seeks opportunities for personal growth and welcomes constructive feedback.

Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed. This role may exist across various brands, and specific duties may differ depending on the brand.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent. Previous retail or sales experience is preferred. Must be at least 18 years old. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential. Ability to adapt to technology utilized by the company. Excellent organizational skills and capacity to multitask in a dynamic environment. Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, team members, and management. Regular attendance is critical to fulfill company objectives.

Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required. Compensation for this position ranges from $16.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on individual qualifications.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
