We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at Carle Health. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in the perioperative team, providing safe and effective care to patients during surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment, ensuring a sterile and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order and meet the highest standards of quality.
- Assist in the positioning and preparation of patients for surgical procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Participate in the turnover and setup of operating rooms, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition between procedures.
- Collaborate with the perioperative team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during surgical procedures.
- Associate's degree in Surgical Technology or Certificate in Surgical Technology.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
- Two years of experience as a surgical technologist.
