At HP Hood LLC, we offer a challenging opportunity for a skilled Assembly Line Specialist to join our team. With a competitive salary of $22.60 per hour (plus 7% night shift differential), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products.

About the Role

The primary responsibility of this position is to operate and maintain filling equipment, adhering to strict safety and quality standards. Your key duties will include:

  • Operating and cleaning multiple high-speed filling machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
  • Completing paperwork and records as required by government regulations and company policies
  • Safely operating all assigned equipment, following established job hazard analysis (JHA) procedures
  • Consistently meeting production quotas and contributing to departmental efficiency through cross-training efforts

You will work closely with managers, supervisors, and peers to achieve shared goals and objectives.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent reading, writing, and math skills (English language)
  • Ability to identify colors and perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Forklift certification and willingness to adapt to changing production schedules

You will also be expected to maintain a clean and safe work environment, participate in special teams representing the production department, and perform other related duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with varying temperatures (50-85°F) and occasional exposure to wet and slippery floors. You will also be required to use chemicals and wear hearing protection due to moderate to heavy noise levels.
