Job Summary:

Samuels Seafood is seeking a skilled Delivery Truck Driver to assist in the delivery of seafood and related items to customers within a four-hour radius of our Philadelphia, PA facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist drivers in the delivery of items to customers, including restaurants, grocery stores, and institutions.
  • Utilize delivery manifests to select items to be delivered from refrigerated trailers/trucks.
  • Climb into the truck using step bumpers to access items and lift/carry items from the truck into customer storage areas/drop-off locations.
  • Negotiate steps, walkways, and storage areas to place items in customer refrigerated or freezer areas.
  • Assist drivers in checking items against customer orders and noting any discrepancies.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Inspect vehicles before trips, including visual inspections of tires, windshields, and equipment.
  • Check fuel gauges and record mileage.
  • Transport seafood to customers within a four-hour radius of the facility.
  • Accept payment or signature for items delivered.
