Job Title: Class A CDL Delivery Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Class A CDL Delivery Driver to join our team at Performance Foodservice. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner. This is a critical role in our food supply chain, and we require someone with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and unload food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and co-workers to ensure smooth delivery operations.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
  • Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safe driving guidelines.
  • Verify delivery of products with customers and obtain signatures as required.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class A CDL with a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
  • 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
  • High school diploma/GED or state-approved equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and move products of varying size and weight.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
