About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Mother Baby team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As a Mother Baby Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to new mothers and their babies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized care to new mothers and their babies, addressing their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition, including maternal and fetal well-being.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in maternal and neonatal care.

Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics within 90 days of hire.
- 1 year of Nursing experience.
