Job Summary:

The Nutrition Aide will be responsible for food preparation and storage, recordkeeping, and maintenance of sanitation standards in food preparation facilities. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, with a non-traditional work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals in accordance with established menus and nutritional guidelines.
  • Store and handle food in a safe and sanitary manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of food preparation and storage.
  • Ensure that all food preparation facilities meet sanitation standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • CPR, First Aid Certification, and Food Handlers Certification.
  • Ability to work a non-traditional schedule, including early morning shifts.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One to two years of experience in food preparation in a commercial or institutional kitchen.
  • Intermediate proficiency level using Microsoft Applications, including Outlook and Zoom.
  • Bilingual preferred.
