Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Denver Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Assess the needs of patients and families to identify potential health or safety problems
  • Maintain accurate and detailed reports and records
  • Monitor and record patient symptoms and changes in condition and vital signs
  • Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patient responses and conditions
  • Develop and modify patient care plans as indicated by patient responses and conditions
  • Prepare patients for and assist with examinations and treatments
  • Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Monitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity
  • Direct and supervise less skilled nursing/healthcare personnel
  • Instruct individuals and families on health education and disease prevention and aftercare
  • Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients
  • Medication administration, documentation, and reassessment
  • Promote positive patient experience
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree Required
  • One year experience in a direct patient care setting preferred
