About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Natural Grocers. As a Cashier, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Provide world-class customer service, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable.
  • Operate a cash register, handle customer transactions, and maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support various departments, including stocking, receiving, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Participate in company initiatives, such as promoting special events and programs, and engaging with customers to drive sales and loyalty.
  • Develop product knowledge and stay up-to-date on store promotions and offerings.
Requirements
  • Strong people skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Retail experience, preferably in a grocery store or similar environment.
  • Cashiering skills and experience with handling money and operating a cash register.
  • Ability to pass food safety training courses and certifications.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a sense of urgency and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to take direction and follow through on tasks and responsibilities.
