Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wealth Relationship Manager to join our team at Citigroup Inc. As a key member of our Private Client Coverage group, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with high net worth clients, providing them with tailored financial planning and wealth management solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop relationships with affluent and high net worth clients to increase wallet share and provide incremental revenue growth.
  • Anticipate and understand clients' complex financial needs and offer holistic financial solutions through a range of products and services.
  • Provide regular value-added engagement with clients, including face-to-face meetings, consistent communication, and access to seminars and other educational resources.
  • Master referral opportunities to grow portfolio and proactively source, acquire, and expand high-value customer relationships.
  • Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate and organize client events to enhance client bonding.
  • Acquire new clients through converting referral leads and manage client follow-up while adhering to all regulatory and compliance operating procedures.
  • Ensure strict adherence to KYC/AML and other compliance norms and partner with all roles on the branch team to ensure a positive in-branch experience for all clients.
  • Assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
Requirements
  • 5-8 years of experience in financial planning and wealth management.
  • Bilingual in Cantonese/Mandarin.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills, with the ability to filter, prioritize, and validate complex and dynamic material from multiple sources.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to work without direction.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word) and experience using NaviPlan Select or similar financial planning software preferred.
  • Basic understanding of investment and financial planning strategies preferred.
  • US: Current Registration for FINRA series 6, 63, and 65 required for the role. Individuals with Series 7 and 66 or equivalent encouraged to apply.
  • Insurance group 1 required; will give 120 days to obtain if not already held.
  • This position requires registration as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (Registry) and obtaining a unique identifier from the Registry before referring interested clients to Citibank for their mortgage needs.
