Job Description

Adaptive Solutions Group is a leading provider of information technology personnel, offering a range of technical professionals for contract, contract-to-hire, or direct placement positions to companies in various regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implementation: Apply software engineering principles to design, implement, configure, and optimize solutions in support of applications, databases, test automation tools, and Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS) products.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate technical skill in at least one programming general-purpose language (Java, C#, Python, etc.) and domain-specific language (HTML, SQL, proprietary vendor language, etc.), as needed.
  • Peer Review and Collaboration: Perform peer reviews using software engineering principles, patterns, and development guidelines, and partner with customers in the development of innovative solutions that achieve business goals.
  • Business and Technical Requirements: Review and analyze business and technical requirements and implement technical solutions to meet those requirements.
  • Support and Maintenance: Provide on-call support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, incident management, and service request management for supported products and environments.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: Typically requires at least 6-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree specializing in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), or a closely related field, from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or experience.
  • Technical Skills: Languages: Java, SQL, Python, Shell Scripting. Frameworks/Libraries: AWS SDK, Spring, Maven. AWS Services: ECS, S3, IAM. Software: Docker, Gitlab, IntelliJ IDE.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Grafana/OpenSearch Experience: Experience with Grafana/OpenSearch or other monitoring/alerting tools.
  • Security Experience: Experience implementing/following security controls in a security-sensitive environment (from a government agency or other company with a well-defined security posture).
  • Security Tools: Experience with security tools and remediating vulnerabilities (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, etc.).
