Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Alsum Farms & Produce Inc. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production machinery by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections.



Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Thoroughly clean and lubricate machines and machine parts to prevent wear and tear
  • Identify and report damaged or worn-out parts to be ordered or replaced
  • Install replacement parts and perform repairs to machines as needed
  • Use Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software to document work performed and track maintenance history
  • Maintain a clean and organized store room and shop areas, and ensure proper storage and handling of tools and supplies
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to schedule regular maintenance on machines and coordinate with production staff to minimize downtime
  • Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in maintenance and repair of industrial equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid state motor vehicle license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and work at heights
  • Exposure to varying temperatures and environments
