Role Overview: We are in the process of establishing a new, independent A/V Finishing Team to enhance our creative studio's infrastructure. This strategic initiative aims to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of our A/V content production and finishing.

Position Summary: We are looking for a seasoned A/V finishing professional to help shape the future of our projects. The selected candidate will oversee the finishing and post-production processes for A/V marketing materials related to Amazon MGM Studios' original films and series.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all operational elements of video projects (including trailers, TV spots, promos, and sizzles) from start to finish, ensuring alignment with campaign timelines and budgetary constraints.
  • Develop schedules, allocate resources, estimate timeframes, and monitor costs and project completion criteria.
  • Assist in the creation of motion graphic A/V kits with external agencies, requiring extensive knowledge of Brand-ID elements such as audio mnemonics, colors, shapes, fonts, and logos.
  • Secure necessary approvals and relay plans to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure the team maintains appropriate processes, procedures, and tracking systems to deliver video assets on time and within budget.
  • Proactively identify and address potential issues, consistently updating stakeholders on progress, delays, and budgetary impacts.
  • Possess a strong understanding of A/V formats, localization fundamentals, post-production processes, asset management, servicing, and trafficking.
  • Manage footage trafficking to external post-production vendors, dubbing studios, and agencies.
  • Define project scopes and obtain estimates from external partners.
  • Provide creative feedback to agencies throughout project lifecycles.
  • Conduct quality control on video files prior to final delivery.
  • Distribute final files to internal and external partners as required.
  • Extract clips for publicity and social media, delivering final files in various codecs.
  • Oversee localization of assets for multiple regions for simultaneous global marketing releases, including graphics, subtitles, and dubbing as necessary.
  • Collaborate proactively with internal teams and external agencies to assess project needs and ensure the efficient development and delivery of video assets.
  • Regularly communicate with marketing and creative teams to establish project priorities and communicate milestones and deadlines.
  • Experience in managing and delivering a high volume of video assets to external partners is essential.

Daily Responsibilities: The role of the A/V Finishing Producer involves providing structure and consistency in a dynamic environment. Managing trailer and TV finishing requires foresight, regular check-ins, and responsiveness to recent changes. Collaboration with the core team and maintaining clear communication with vendors are crucial aspects of the role.

Team Overview: The A/V finishing team operates within the Creative Services division, which encompasses various creative and technical disciplines that collectively support Amazon MGM Studios' marketing and content initiatives. This diverse group of industry professionals specializes in A/V and static art production, asset management, digital archiving, and a range of marketing services.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in creative services.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the entertainment, branding, or production sectors.
  • Familiarity with workflows in marketing, production, or creative departments.
  • Experience collaborating with creative or advertising agencies, networks, streaming services, or studios.
  • Preferred experience in large-scale, global creative campaigns and asset management.
