**Responsibilities**

* Develop and produce detailed construction plans and documents using AutoDesk or Bentley design software(s)
* Conduct studies, prepare reports, and create technical specifications, regulatory permits, and construction estimates
* Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure project success
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to enhance project outcomes
* Implement innovative roadway design strategies to optimize user experience and safety

**Essential Job Functions**

* Minimum of a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a similar field from an accredited school
* Licensed Professional Engineer in MN or with the ability to obtain MN licensure within 6 months
* 4+ years of experience as a Civil Engineer in transportation design
* Proven proficiency in AutoDesk or Bentley design software(s)
* Strong work ethic, enthusiastic attitude, and excellent communication skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet project deadlines

**Skills and Qualifications**

* Proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation, or other design software(s)
* Extensive knowledge of transportation design standards and best practices
* Experience in developing construction plans, technical specifications, and regulatory permits
* Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
