POSITION SUMMARY:
The 2nd Year X-ray Student plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services to aid in patient diagnosis and care. This position supports both Radiologic Technologists and Radiologists during various examinations.
- EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. Currently enrolled in an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a Student Radiologic Technologist within a hospital Radiology Department is required.
CERTIFICATIONS:
Current CPR certification is mandatory.
SAFETY SENSITIVE DESIGNATION:
This position is classified as safety sensitive in accordance with applicable regulations concerning medical marijuana.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The role necessitates effective communication skills, as well as the ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, lift, push, and pull weights up to 100 pounds while adhering to proper body mechanics. The position involves prolonged periods of performing Radiology examinations and requires acute hearing and visual acuity. It is essential to manage stressful situations with composure and efficiency.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Hospital setting.
