Your Role:

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver direct patient care within an assigned unit, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will perform all technical nursing duties in accordance with established policies and procedures. You will oversee the care of assigned patients and guide ancillary staff, potentially taking on charge nurse responsibilities while assisting physicians as needed.

Your Contributions:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ health status upon admission and throughout their stay, ensuring compliance with established timelines.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to create individualized care plans based on comprehensive assessments.
  • Direct and coordinate patient care activities to ensure high-quality service delivery, effectively communicating care plans with team members.
  • Evaluate patient outcomes and document the effectiveness of interventions, including family involvement in the evaluation process.
  • Maintain compliance with nursing department standards, completing required competencies and attending departmental meetings.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • Active Florida RN License
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
