About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care, with expertise in diagnostic testing, patient assessment, and treatment planning. They will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with a range of respiratory conditions, including asthma, COPD, and pneumonia.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' respiratory function and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Perform diagnostic tests, such as spirometry and blood gas analysis
  • Administer oxygen therapy and other medications as prescribed
  • Monitor patients' responses to treatment and adjust plans as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a CoARC-accredited program in respiratory care
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • State license as a respiratory therapist
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • ACLS, NRP (Peds Specialty RT), and PALS certifications
