Job Summary

Midas of Monmouth/Mercer County and Surrounding Areas is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of automotive maintenance services, including routine vehicle maintenance, visual safety and courtesy inspections, and other shop maintenance items.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including fluid exchanges and oil changes
  • Conduct visual safety and courtesy inspections to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy
  • Mount, balance, and rotate tires to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Replace batteries and other essential components to keep vehicles running smoothly
  • Change bulbs, belts, and hoses to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
  • Maintain and clean shop areas to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
  • Perform other shop maintenance items as needed to ensure our facility is well-maintained
Requirements
  • Entry-level technicians must have prior knowledge of automotive basics
  • Knowledge of shop equipment and tools is essential
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are required
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license is required
