Job Description

Job Title: EVS Technician
Position Type: Full-time
Shift: 3rd shift, 10:30pm - 7:00am, with mandatory 30-minute break, every other weekend, and holiday required
Hours Per Week: 40
Pay Rate: $16 to $19 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain lobby, waiting, and common areas to meet hospital standards
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including mopping, vacuuming, and disposing of trash
  • Maintain stocked and orderly service closets and carts
  • Report equipment in need of repair
  • Perform spot cleaning of furniture and buffing floors as needed

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Six months of hospitality/medical housekeeping experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, push, bend, and lift up to 20 pounds occasionally

Equipment/Tools Used:

  • Mops, cleaning cloths, vacuum, compactor, floor buffer, floor machine, telephone, pager, cleaning cart, wringer, bucket, and computer
