Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide exceptional care in various healthcare settings. This role is essential for delivering respiratory therapy services to patients in need.

Certification Requirements
  • Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner by the appropriate State Board
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification
  • NIH Stroke certification
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
  • HIPAA compliance knowledge
  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam completion
  • Competency Exam completion
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory therapy services to patients in the PICU/NICU and adult settings
  • Work a schedule of 3x12 hour night shifts
  • Utilize advanced equipment such as Servo I, V60, Nitric, 3100A, 3100B, and Jet
Experience Requirements
  • Critical care experience is mandatory
  • Prior experience in a high-volume emergency room or Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Experience in a Level 3 NICU is preferred
  • Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system is required
Schedule Details
  • 13-week assignment
  • Night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM
  • Every other weekend commitment
Unit Specific Information
  • Experience in PICU/NICU is required
  • Ability to work with adult patients is necessary
Additional Information
  • I-9 or attestation documentation is required
  • Driver's License or State ID must be provided within a specified timeframe
  • E-Verify or attestation documentation is necessary
  • Residency Declaration Form is required for nurses holding a compact license
