We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Evanston, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech therapy and experience working with school-aged children.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' functional abilities and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills.
- Provide direct therapy services, consultation, and collaboration with school staff and families to support students' participation in classroom activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Serve K-12 grade students with an average caseload of 45 students.
- Serve IEP and 504 minutes, attend IEP/504 meetings, write all speech components of the IEP or 504, and write the entire IEP for students who are speech-only.
- Be a member of the MTSS team.
- PEL with an SLP endorsement.
- Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Illinois state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
