Medical Assistant

SSM Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will provide clinical support to our healthcare team, assisting with patient care and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities- Assist with patient care, including vital sign measurements and documentation
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient examinations
- Perform basic clerical duties, including answering phones and maintaining patient records
- Assist with ordering and stocking of supplies
- Document patient information and follow-up instructions
- Transcribe patient orders, including laboratory tests and medications
- High School diploma or equivalent required; graduation from an accredited medical assisting program preferred
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred
