Job Summary

The Fall Mountain Regional School District is seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, attractiveness, and cleanliness of our buildings and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks to maintain the integrity of our facilities.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and take corrective action to prevent accidents.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve our facilities management.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum three years' experience in maintenance and care of buildings.
  • General knowledge of building repair, carpentry, and related equipment.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve problems.
  • Must be able to furnish some of own tools to perform work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to use online computer systems and other related programs.
  • Ability to drive and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
Working Conditions

The Maintenance Worker position is physically demanding and requires the ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, lift heavy objects, and work in a variety of weather conditions.
