Clean Harbors is seeking a skilled Mobile Container Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient repair of our containers at various locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and mechanical repair tasks on containers
- Inspect and prepare equipment for repair, including sanding and fabricating
- Log all necessary entries of time and materials into electronic repair order systems
- Ensure compliance with all safe work practices, policies, and processes
- Perform regular maintenance on company-owned equipment and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Welding (MIG & Stick) and mechanical experience in a fabrication/repair shop environment
- Experience performing flat welding with steel preferred
- Successful completion of Structural Welding test
- Welding Certification is considered an asset
