Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join our team at Yorktown Veterinary Associates. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, developing strong relationships with our clients, and collaborating with our support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, taking into account their individual needs and medical histories.
  • Conduct physical examinations, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Perform surgical procedures, including routine surgeries and emergency surgeries.
  • Prescribe and administer medications, as well as provide guidance on post-operative care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in veterinary medicine, including new treatments, technologies, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with our support staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
  • Current veterinary license in good standing.
