Position Title: Software Analysis and Data Integration Capability Developer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and suggest modifications to SMC Capability Description Documents and related architectural products that align with JCIDS requirements.
  • Analyze SMC Concept of Operations (CONOPS) to ensure alignment with hardware and resource allocation strategies.
  • Examine and confirm the impacts of DOTMLPF changes resulting from shifts in business processes and policies.
  • Engage in collaborative meetings, briefings, and workshops to fulfill contractual obligations effectively.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, contributing to progress reviews and ongoing project assessments alongside government team members.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a dispersed team environment.
  • Experience in leading teams and managing collaborative efforts.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both in-person and virtually.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with the Joint Capabilities and Integration Development System (JCIDS) and related processes.
  • Comprehensive understanding of DOTMLPF and its interconnections.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, requiring possession of a U.S. Passport.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology, computer science, physical science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in analyzing diverse business scenarios and conducting detailed business and systems analyses.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to assess and enhance business processes and technical requirements.
  • Capability to provide technical guidance for software application evaluations and integration recommendations.
  • Experience in collaborating with teams to develop test plans, analyze test cases, and escalate issues to leadership.
  • Ability to perform software integration and engineering for existing operational systems, troubleshooting hardware and software challenges.
  • Competence in researching and designing complex computer systems and drafting technical papers on emerging technologies.

Work Environment: This position is based in an office setting, utilizing standard office equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended periods of sitting and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Capability to navigate various departments within the organization.

Travel Requirements: Minimal travel may be necessary for corporate support.
