Evening PHP Counselor

Pyramid Healthcare, a recognized leader in behavioral health services, operates an outpatient treatment facility focused on client-centered care. Our dedicated leadership and support team work tirelessly to assist clients in reclaiming their lives. We provide a variety of outpatient treatment options and develop personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering long-term recovery from substance use disorders.

Position Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Intensive Outpatient group therapy sessions and provide family support services, ensuring 6-8 Level of Care Assessments are conducted weekly based on program requirements.
• Maintain an aftercare Outpatient therapy group for clients transitioning to lower levels of care.
• Prepare materials necessary for conducting therapy sessions and groups.
• Manage client files in accordance with program standards.
• Collaborate with clients, families, and colleagues to establish treatment planning goals within designated timelines.
• Assess the behavioral and emotional needs of clients and their families.
• Communicate professionally with clients, referral sources, and company representatives.
• Ensure client files are complete and up-to-date within required timeframes.
• Participate in meetings to discuss client progress.
• Conduct insurance reviews and maintain proper documentation.
• Collect client co-pays as necessary.
• Work a schedule of 40 hours per week, 5 days a week, while meeting productivity expectations.
• Attend training sessions, staff meetings, and supervision as required.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for clients, including crisis intervention when needed.
• Uphold ethical boundaries in client interactions.
• Support additional programming in the office as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 12 PM to 8 PM

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related field, with progress towards a Master's Degree or licensure as a CADC/CAADC required.
• Master's Degree in Human Services or a related field is preferred.
