Job Summary

As a Delivery Driver at Graybar, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers. This is a full-time, hourly position with a predictable work schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver products to Graybar customers while providing exceptional customer service
  • Help determine the most efficient routes for delivery to meet customer expectations
  • Load and unload trucks using warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Inspect vehicles and supplies to ensure safe operation
  • Maintain accurate truck logs and follow all safety protocols
Requirements
  • Customer service skills and ability to work effectively with customers
  • Ability to perform physical requirements necessary to work in a warehouse environment, including passing pre-employment physical testing
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed
  • Valid driver's license issued by the state of residence, with experience driving a van or truck equal to or below 26,000 GVW
  • Ability to pass a DOT medical exam and Commercial Motor Vehicle Certification

  • Full-time, hourly, non-exempt position with a predictable work schedule
  • Paid time-off, including 3+ weeks of vacation, sick time, and volunteer time
  • Competitive hourly rate starting at $19.00 per hour, depending on experience
  • Steel-toed boots required
