Job Summary

The Plant Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and equipment to maintain proper functionality and efficiency. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments and leadership to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and develop new designs and projects to improve manufacturing processes
  • Propose budgets for projects and oversee all activities related to each project
  • Plan and execute strategies for completing projects on time
  • Manage and develop others, including providing clear and concise instructions and training as needed
  • Partner with various departments and leadership to ensure support of projects
Requirements
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must have completed formal training in and/or have at least one (1) year of work experience applying continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Transactional Lean, etc.
  • Must have a bachelor's degree or higher or at least four (4) years of work experience in engineering
  • Must have at least three (3) years of work experience in an engineering function
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have a bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering
  • Have at least one (1) year of experience in leadership role(s), supervising others, or leading teams
  • Have prior work experience using timekeeping systems
  • Have at least three (3) years of experience working in a manufacturing and/or distribution facility
