Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Team Member to join our retail team at Holiday Station Stores. As a Team Member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash, checks, and other forms of payment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe store environment, including the fueling area, parking lot, and store interior.
  • Perform multi-function duties, such as operating the fuel console, lottery machine, and money order machine.
  • Inspect store facilities and equipment for safety and cleanliness, and report any issues to management.
  • Assist with receiving and verifying vendor deliveries, and controlling merchandise and cash shortages.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including attending job-related meetings and training sessions.
Working Conditions

As a Team Member, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment with minimal supervision. You will be required to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, and occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds. You will also be exposed to extreme cold temperatures while performing occasional work in a walk-in cooler and/or freezer.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in retail sales or customer service preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
