We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Medicine Specialist to join our team at TalentBurst. As a key member of our health services team, you will provide clinical care services, case management, and health assessment program management for our employees and contractors.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical care services, including assessing, examining, and treating employees and contractors.
- Manage case studies and provide health assessment program management.
- Conduct routine surveillance screening/tests, including substance abuse testing, respirator fit tests, spirometry, and urinalysis.
- Perform EKGs and phlebotomy as needed.
- Provide medical treatment for work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Collaborate with supervising providers and perform tasks as designated.
- Provide after-hours clinic support and call coverage.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate guidelines.
- Active State Nursing License in Virginia.
- BLS certification.
- 5-10 years of experience in occupational health, preferably in a manufacturing facility.
- Knowledge of OSHA, ADA, FMLA, and state and federal requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Urine drug screen collection certification.
- Breath alcohol testing certification.
- Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist.
- NIOSH certification for spirometry.
