Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Medicine Specialist to join our team at TalentBurst. As a key member of our health services team, you will provide clinical care services, case management, and health assessment program management for our employees and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care services, including assessing, examining, and treating employees and contractors.
  • Manage case studies and provide health assessment program management.
  • Conduct routine surveillance screening/tests, including substance abuse testing, respirator fit tests, spirometry, and urinalysis.
  • Perform EKGs and phlebotomy as needed.
  • Provide medical treatment for work-related injuries and illnesses.
  • Collaborate with supervising providers and perform tasks as designated.
  • Provide after-hours clinic support and call coverage.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate guidelines.
Requirements
  • Active State Nursing License in Virginia.
  • BLS certification.
  • 5-10 years of experience in occupational health, preferably in a manufacturing facility.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, ADA, FMLA, and state and federal requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Urine drug screen collection certification.
  • Breath alcohol testing certification.
  • Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist.
  • NIOSH certification for spirometry.
