Position Overview

This role is designated for a Certified Recreational Therapist Intern.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Recreational Therapist Intern, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and facilitating recreational programs. You will also assist in providing direct care to clients.
  1. Evaluate client leisure requirements and create behavioral treatment plans, objectives, and interventions that are evidence-based and goal-oriented.
  2. Maintain weekly documentation of client progress in a timely manner and develop a schedule of planned activities for clients.
  3. Collaborate with the Recreational Therapy coordinator to oversee programming, ensuring it is balanced, coordinated, and centered on client goals.

Educational Requirements:
Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program (B.A./B.S.) at an accredited institution.
