Architectural CAD Technician

True Homes, a leading home builder, is seeking a skilled Architectural CAD Technician to join their team. As a key member of the Architectural Services team, you will be responsible for creating lot-specific plans from existing and new plan templates within the defined system and company guidelines.

Responsibilities- Creates lot-specific plan product on-time at the direction of the Production Manager, adhering to product portfolio standards, elevation standards, value engineering best practices, and detail standardization.
- Ensures that all lot-specific plans will match sales collateral, community, and product specifications generated at the time of contract.
- Responds to field calls and emails per department standards with appropriate discernment of company objectives and schedules.
- Ensures proper root cause resolution of field and centralized services questions.
- Executes Gold Change Order processes and plan updates properly as required.
- Associate degree in Architectural Drafting with relevant work experience required.
- One year of construction or field experience required.
- Three years of experience in home building industry preferred.
- Experience with AutoCAD Architecture or equivalent software required.
- Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable personal transportation required for travel in NC and SC as needed.
