Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant II to join our team at Riley Pediatrics/Primary Care. As a Medical Assistant II, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and assist with clinical procedures under the supervision of a designated supervisor and assigned physician.
  • Assure completeness of ordered procedures and treatments, and ensure smooth patient flow.
  • Perform general lab work, instruct patients concerning procedures, treatments, and needs, and ensure medical orders and referrals are carried out accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform registration and scheduling activities per organizational and departmental procedures.
  • Maintain EMR files and perform general front office functions as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduation from a Medical Assistant program required.
  • Current certification in medical assisting required from a recognized organization.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, and ADA required.
  • Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding required.
