Troon International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Server to join our team. As a key member of our Food and Beverage department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring that every dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Front of the House, working closely with the Executive Chef and F&B Manager to ensure seamless service standards are met.
  • Train and supervise a team of servers, ensuring they are properly trained in Safe Serve and Tips.
  • Oversee inventory control, ordering goods and supplies, and conducting monthly counts.
  • Work closely with the Food and Beverage Manager on event execution and be knowledgeable of all club event details.
  • Provide prompt and efficient customer service, accurately taking orders and serving beverages and prepared meals in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies, including confirming legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guests.
  • Accurately handle all cash and/or credit card transactions, following standard operating procedures.
  • Keep tables, dining room, and workstations sanitized and organized.
  • Listen and respond to customer complaints, performing opening, clean-up, and closing procedures as assigned by manager.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of food service/management experience.
  • ServSafe certified.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependability and ability to work in a team environment.
