Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to develop personalized treatment plans, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Rehabilitation Strategies: Design and implement rehabilitation programs to improve strength, flexibility, and mobility, as well as to enhance overall physical function and well-being.
  • Documentation and Progress Monitoring: Accurately document patient progress, re-evaluate treatment plans as needed, and modify strategies to achieve maximum benefit.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and support staff, to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
  • Education and Training: Provide patients and their families with education and training on treatment procedures, self-management techniques, and adaptive devices to promote independence and optimal recovery.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program, with a Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum two years of experience as a physical therapist, preferably in a clinic setting.
  • License and Certification: Current state physical therapist license and current CPR certification.
