Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and pull food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to the menu, production sheet, and recipes provided.
  • Maintain acceptable standards of preparation, sanitation, and storage of food.
  • Clean work area and equipment as needed, and store leftover hot foods.
  • Keep logs of inventory and make notes of needs.
  • Perform other assigned duties by the Dietary Manager.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of quantity food preparation.
  • Related public health and sanitation regulations, and safety practices.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in Food Service of a Health Care Facility.
  • Basic understanding of modified diets.
  • Ability to read, write, and count in English.
