Transportation Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Transportation Specialist to provide non-emergency transportation to scheduled medical appointments and other events for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and timely transportation to clients, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Use iPad for proper documentation of trip records and maintain accurate records.
- Perform weekly inspections of vehicles and submit reports to the office in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, caregivers, and facility staff.
- Adhere to regular and predictable attendance, ensuring a reliable transportation service.
- Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license in Wisconsin, Minnesota, or Iowa.
- Basic Red Cross or equivalent training in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) within 60 days of hire.
- No education required, but a high school diploma or equivalent is desired.
- No prior work experience is required, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
Work Environment:
This position requires working in a fast-paced environment, subject to vibration, and exposed to infectious diseases. The Transportation Specialist will be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways and work in both inside and outside environmental conditions.
Physical Demands:
The Transportation Specialist will be required to sit for approximately 8 hours a day, walk/stand for approximately 3 hours a day, and drive for approximately 8 hours a day. The position also requires stooping/bending, squatting, kneeling/half kneeling, climbing stairs, and reaching at various levels.
