Key Responsibilities:

As a Registered Nurse, you will perform a variety of administrative tasks that support unit operations, including:

  • Updating and organizing unit information
  • Coordinating workflows within the unit and with other departments
  • Reporting pertinent information to supervisors
  • Responding to inquiries from patients, visitors, and caregivers

Minimum Qualifications:

· Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred

· Strong critical thinking abilities and sound judgment are essential

· Capability to function with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment

Certifications Required:

· Basic Life Support (BLS)

Licensure:

· Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in Kentucky. New graduates may practice under a provisional license for a limited time with the expectation of obtaining full licensure.

Essential Skills:

· Execute care plans, including medication administration and clinical treatments

· Document all patient care activities

· Monitor and communicate patient conditions effectively

· Assist patients with daily living activities

· Collaborate across disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care

· Assess and address educational needs of patients and families

· Advocate for the holistic well-being of patients
