Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center Healthcare. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing all CT procedures, operating computed tomography and radiography equipment, and assisting physicians in the performance of examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepares patient for examination and sets up and manipulates the use of all computed tomography, data processing, and ancillary equipment required for computed tomography procedures
  • Calculates and selects proper technique and protocols using ALARA, ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and equipment
  • Assists physicians during procedures with medical equipment and instruments, and the administration of contrast materials and medications
  • Transfers image data to PACS and V-RAD environments for physician review and interpretation
  • Maintains records and technical notations on each case, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies
Requirements
  • Completion of two years post-high school training in an approved school of diagnostic imaging
  • National registry through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and state licensure through the Maryland Board of Physician Quality Assurance
  • Healthcare Provider (CPR) Certification
  • Two years' experience as a Radiologic Technologist or one year experience in computed tomography

Pay Range: $51.36
