Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team at AdventHealth Wesley Chapel. As a Paramedic, you will provide high-quality patient care and transportation services, while adhering to our department's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Responsibilities:

  • Provides patients with support treatment, care, and evaluations prior to and during transportation.
  • Provides primary patient care activities on transports approved to be at the ALS level by the EMS Medical Director.
  • Ensures patient documentation is accurate, complete, and in compliance at all times.
  • Completes medication, supplies, and equipment inventories each shift, restocking as needed.
  • Operates emergency vehicles safely in a variety of weather and emergent conditions in accordance with established safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Graduated from a Paramedic program.
  • One year of medical emergency experience.
  • American Heart - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • American Heart - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • American Heart - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • Paramedic license required from the respective state board and/or respective state equivalent.
