Ardent Health Services is seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician for a dedicated faculty resident preceptor role within our esteemed medical education program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with a team of faculty physicians committed to excellence in medical education.
- Oversee the training of up to 60 Internal Medicine Residents.
- Full-time position focused exclusively on outpatient care.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to a maximum of 11 residents per day.
- Allocate time for administrative duties to enhance educational outcomes.
- Participate in a 1:6 backup resident call coverage system.
- Benefit from dedicated Medical Assistant support, with 1 MA for every 2 residents.
- Access to comprehensive support services including lab, pharmacy, and behavioral health specialists.
- Utilize virtual translation services to enhance patient communication.
- Contribute to a growing academic program with the establishment of a new medical school.
