Job Title: Sr Lead Consultant Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Lead Consultant to join our team at Birlasoft. As a key member of our Java Production Support team, you will be responsible for supporting mission-critical financial applications with sensitive PII data. Your expertise in Java/J2EE and microservices will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our applications. Key Responsibilities: * Support Java-based applications involving microservices * Monitor production jobs and ensure their scheduled execution * Create Standard Operating Procedure documents * Triage production issues and provide solutions as per Standard Operating Procedure documents * Document problem, solutions in the ticketing tools & knowledge base * Communicate effectively with business, technical teams * Work well under pressure with a methodical approach to problem solving * Prioritize multiple tasks and manage/assign tasks between team members * Monitor application health, perform application/service restarts as per Standard Operating Procedures * Monitor, edit, create scheduler jobs * Deploy and manage applications, services on Microsoft Windows and cloud environments Primary Skills: * Strong documentation, communication skills (written and verbal) and analytical skills * Experience in relational databases like MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server; writing queries, understanding DB processes * Motivated self-starter, able to work independently or as part of a team * Experience with product lifecycle & deployments * Experience working in Agile project * Time management, project management skills Secondary Skills: * Experience with job schedulers like Autosys or Visual Cron or Control-M or Ansible or Cron * Experience with log analyzers like Splunk or Dynatrace or Datadog * Experience with application performance monitoring tools like New Relic, AppDynamics or Dynatrace * Cloud, microservices, message queues, NoSQL, CI/CD What We Offer: * Opportunity to work with a leading IT services company * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Professional growth and development opportunities How to Apply: If you are a motivated and experienced Sr Lead Consultant looking for a new challenge, please submit your application with your resume and a cover letter.
