Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our Clinic Pool team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, communicating with patients, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Competently perform basic to advanced radiologic procedures, including general diagnostic, general fluoroscopy, and c-arm procedures.
  • Communicate with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, and confirm patient understanding.
  • Position patients and select exposure factors for various radiologic examinations, ensuring patient safety and radiation protection.
  • Identify patient and label images, compare requisitions to physician orders, and process images to ensure exam accuracy.
  • Assist and communicate with physicians, work independently, and maintain records in accordance with regulatory agencies.
  • Serve as a technical resource, role model, and preceptor for students and staff, and assist with accreditation efforts.
Requirements
  • Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Advanced training beyond High School in Radiologic Technology.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders frequently throughout the workday. Must be able to stand/walk for majority of the day. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist, lift up to 20 lbs. over the head, and carry up to 40 lbs. a reasonable distance. Must be able to push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.
