Overview:

The Center for Disability Services Foundation is dedicated to providing hope, innovation, and success to individuals with disabilities. With over 80 years of experience, we are one of the largest providers of essential programs and services in upstate New York, offering unique and vital resources that are often unavailable elsewhere.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Inclusive Education Specialist to join our dedicated team at the Prospect Center. This position comes with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Benefits:

  • Eligibility for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the classroom by providing guidance to a multidisciplinary team of professionals and support staff.
  • Oversee and direct the activities of classroom educational personnel.
  • Work collaboratively with parents, educational institutions, and other organizations to meet the diverse needs of students.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Initial New York State Certification in Special Education.
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education (Master's degree in progress preferred).
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds independently.
  • A minimum of two years of experience working with students with multiple disabilities.
  • Creative and energetic approach to education.

Compensation: The pay range for this position is $30.81 per hour, with the rate of pay commensurate with experience.
