Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Section of Invasive and Interventional Cardiology. As a RN HOPS Specialist, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services in various healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients, complete thorough nursing assessments, and document findings in patient records.
- Notify physicians of abnormal findings and collaborate with the healthcare team to establish care plans.
- Perform telephone triage, cover other nursing roles in the department, and educate patients and families on their care.
- Coordinate ongoing care, identify discharge needs, and facilitate discharge planning.
- Evaluate, initiate, and maintain standards of care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- One year of recent experience as an RN.
- Preferred qualifications: Two years of recent experience as an RN, one year of critical care experience in a hospital setting.
- Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
- Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
- Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
- Requires some exposure to communicable disease or bodily fluids.
