About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving high-quality food to our residents and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including texture-modified and therapeutic diets, following facility menus and applicable federal, state, and local standards.
  • Assist in receiving, storing, preparing, serving, sanitizing, and cleaning procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Support the Dining Services Director and other employees as needed, and direct other employees with approval.
  • Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions and follow established safety and quality guidelines.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive, respectful attitude towards residents, staff, and facility guests.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; experience in food preparation preferred.
  • Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required based on State/County law.
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
