Responsibilities
  • Safely Operate a Propane Delivery Truck: You will be responsible for safely operating a propane delivery truck along designated routes to deliver propane to our customers.
  • Filling Residential and/or Commercial Bulk Tanks: You will fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane, ensuring accurate measurements and safe handling practices.
  • Delivering Propane Cylinders: You will deliver propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Perform Daily Functions in a Safe Manner: You will perform all daily functions in a safe manner, adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations, as well as AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements: You must have a valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
  • Acceptable Driving Record: You must have an acceptable driving record, with no history of reckless or negligent driving.
  • Satisfactory Completion of DOT Physical, Drug Test, and Background Check: You must pass a satisfactory DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
  • Ability to Work Outdoors in All Weather Conditions: You must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and inclement weather.
  • Ability to Lift Up to 70 lbs: You must be able to lift up to 70 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
