Dental Lab Technician Senior Care

Nemours Children's Health is seeking a skilled Dental Lab Technician to join our team in Wilmington, DE.
Job SummaryThe Dental Lab Technician is responsible for providing high-quality dental laboratory services as specified by attending dentists.
Key Responsibilities- Fabrication of Dental Appliances: Fabricate dental removable appliances according to dentist's specifications, both oral and written.
- Consultation and Assistance: Consult with dentists at patient visits to determine best patient treatment options and assist dentists in the operatory with problem cases.
- Independent Interpretation and Application: Independently interpret and apply oral and written instructions.
- Reset and Repair Services: Perform resets of dentures and partials while the patient waits to provide optimal patient satisfaction and repair and/or reline full and partial dentures while the patient waits to alleviate return visits, including welding.
- Setup and Processing: Set-up, invest, pack, process, finish, and polish full and partial dentures, flippers, and night guards.
- Custom Tray and Bite Rim Construction: Construct shims, mouth guards, temporary crowns, custom trays, and bite rims.
- Diagnostic Crown and Bridge Cases: Wax up diagnostic crown and bridge cases and pour preliminary and final impressions.
- Lab Supply Management: Order lab supplies and maintain inventory of teeth and organize lab cases for the following day's appointments.
- Maintenance of Equipment: Maintain all equipment.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Dental Supervisor.
Education and Experience: High School Diploma required. At least 5 years of experience as a Dental Technician required (Must have dental lab experience). Must have experience with setting and finishing full, partial, and wrought wire partials. Candidate must have dental lab experience, specifically with set-ups, packing, and finishing.
