Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Program Director to lead our youth development programs at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern NH. This is a dynamic opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time position requiring 30 hours plus per week, with competitive compensation and benefits package.
  • You will work closely with our team to plan, develop, and implement various programs, ensuring they meet the needs of our members and align with our organizational goals.
  • Your leadership skills and experience in youth development will be essential in guiding our team and fostering a positive and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement programs that promote youth development outcomes, including academic achievement, physical fitness, and character development.
  2. Maintain accurate records and reports, including daily participation figures, notable achievements, and any problems/issues.
  3. Supervise and train program staff and volunteers, ensuring they understand and effectively communicate program standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of an associate's degree in child development, education, recreation, or other field of study focused on children.
  • At least 2000 hours of experience working with children in a licensed child care program, recreation program, or public/private elementary school.
  • Current certification as an educator by the Department of Education or equivalent.
Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $50,000 - $60,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
